Studio
All materials and equipment are provided. Each student has their own individual space with lighting set-up, electrically operated height adjustable tables, access to a huge array of bowls, cups, pots and bottles collected by Julian over 20 years of painting still life and collecting from the brocantes and markets of Provence.
Monday is market day in Bedoin so first thing we will meet in the market and buy lots of seasonal goodies for the week’s painting.
Each morning Julian will demonstrate his technique completing a 8″x6″ still life before the group – requests welcomed!
Lunch is served in our kitchen or outside on the terrace (weather permitting), delicious provençal food created by Julian and Ruth
The workshop offers a concentrated time to work under the guidance of an artist with more than ten years experience of teaching and some 25 years working as a professional artist.
